Creating a Bully-Free School Environment Collaborative Forum - May 3, 2011
On Tuesday, May 3, 2011 the Stakeholders Collaboration hosted its 16th annual Collaborative Forum. This event focused on bullying prevention and resources for schools to creating bully-free school environments.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Dorothy Espelage, Professor, Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Espelage discussed national trends in bullying and best practices for addressing bullying in schools.

There was also a panel discussion with representatives from several local schools and community-based organizations that provide bullying prevention resources for schools. Panelists provided insight as to how their organizations or schools were addressing bullying and tips for parents and community members to help address bullying that takes place during school, in after-school programs, and online.
