CPS Cluster Health Data


In 2005, the Stakeholders Collaboration received health data from the Chicago Department of Public Health for each Chicago Public Schools (CPS) cluster area.**

The cluster health data include statistics on:

  • Teen births;
  • Hospitalization discharges and rate due to asthma and mental disorders;
  • Mortality due to assault, suicide, and mental disorders; and
  • Chlamydia and gonorrhea rates.


**CPS is divided into six clusters, which are further broken down into instructional areas.  Below is a 2005 map highlighting CPS cluster areas.
