Diabetes Resource for School Nurses
H.A.N.D.S. - Helping Administer to the Needs of the Student with Diabetes in Schools
H.A.N.D.S. is a live continuing education full day program developed by the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) for school nurses to equip the school nurse with current diabetes knowledge, and provide tools and resources to facilitate effective diabetes management for students at school. It is presented by a School Nurse with a specific interest in diabetes and a Certified Diabetes Educator. The website also includes resources for school nurses in addressing student diabetes.
