Emergency Guidelines for Schools

Emergency Guidelines for Schools (EGS). The Ohio Department of Health, School and Adolescent Health, in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Emergency Medical Services for Children program, and the Emergency Care Committee of the Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics are please to announce the release of the third edition of the Emergency Guidelines for Schools (EGS).

Though the document contains discussion of Ohio laws related to school emergencies, it also contains procedures and checklists for emergency preparedness.
