Tuesday, March 23rd from 3:45 pm - 7:00 pm
Humboldt Park Field House: 1400 N Sacramento Ave, Chicago IL
What: The Healthy Teacher Network is a group of teachers grades K-12 from Chicago that are learning how to promote healthy eating and physical activity in their classroom and school from professionals in the health and wellness field.
The Healthy Teacher Network Workshop #2 includes a keynote presentation, interactive workshops, and a healthy dinner demonstration and tasting.
Who: Teachers (other supporting staff are encouraged to attend, however, some of the break-out workshops are geared towards classroom instruction.)
Benefits for Participants:
Earn three professional development credits (CPDU/CEU credits)
Network with other teachers and professionals to share ideas, knowledge and resources
Learn about cutting-edge topics and practices in obesity prevention as it relates to schools

Sponsored by the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC), the Healthy Teacher Network is a group of teachers from across Chicago learning how to promote healthy eating and physical activity in their classroom and school from professionals in the field.
As a member of the Healthy Teacher Network, you can attend free workshops to learn how to promote and create a healthy environment in and beyond the classroom.
